It started out with fog still hanging on the ridge. The sun came out just as we passed a madrone.

Anything still in the shade was still bedewed. The pond at Peters Creek was in its best lighting.

There are still plenty of wildflowers, but they are hidden in the tall grass. Perfect weather to watch the birds and animals in the valley, and try to see the ocean.
